TD-500 In the newsTurner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments has developed a device right here in Fresno that can measure the amount of oil in water. The TD 500 is being used by the Coast Guard, the Everglades Foundation and the USGS as the oil spill continues to spread in the Gulf of Mexico. Officials can measure the oil concentration with the device and get a better heads up on how to protect gulf coastlines. |
