Gulf Coast Regional Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Reports to: President
Experience: Minimum 3 years selling technical products.
Education: BS Engineering preferred. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other technical degrees or equivalent experience will be considered.
Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments is a fast growing unique international manufacturer of hydrocarbon-in-water monitoring instruments for oil pollution and process control. We are in the command position in the Gulf Coast drilling and production market with more than 13 years in the business. Our markets include drinking water to oilfield produced water, ships to power plants. We specialize in produced water applications with emphasis on special solutions for heavy oil, water soluble organics, and high fouling water problems. We use ultraviolet fluorescence sensor technology to measure hydrocarbon concentration in all sorts of water applications.
We are seeking a self motivated applications engineer to manage our Gulf Coast sales and service operation. Understanding of industrial water treatment and separation processes is a plus. Understanding of industrial or oilfield pollution prevention and treatment systems is also a plus.
After training, this individual will have a keen ability to work with customers to develop applications using our technology. Command of English writing and speaking is required.
Our goal is to find an energetic team player who can help us expand the company by servicing our current high level of incoming new customer activity.

Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager
Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments seeks a highly driven, results-oriented person to join our team. The right person in this role will be responsible for developing the master production schedule, generating work orders to support schedule, evaluating forecasts, creating plans based on forecast, evaluating forecast trends, reducing material costs, assuring inventory performance goals, including cycle counting, inventory turns, excess and obsolescence, and material shortages and working closely with the Engineering team to support new products and changes. The right person will have experience with MRP/ERP systems, the ability to evaluate and improve processes and the ability to multi-task. A four-year degree or equivalent experience is desired and APICS CPIM/CIRM is a plus.

New Hand Held Oil in Water Meter for Produced Water and Crude Oil in Water
Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments (USA) announces the next generation rugged and reliable oil field oil in water monitors for crude oil and produced water applications. The industry leader who brought you the TD-360 FastHEX and the TD-4100 XD continuous on-line oil in water monitors has just released the TD-500 TM hand held / bench top oil in water meter for crude oil. The new UV Fluorescence meter measures oil in Produced Water, Desalter Tail-Water, Crude Storage Tank Water, and in any application where crude oil may be in contact with water. It is viable for all crude oil and most gas production condensates.
It uses the same easy-to-use FastHEX procedure used on the famous TD-360 with the same high accuracy and repeatability but the new TD-500 meter is half the price of the nearest competition. The analysis method is compatible with all popular solvents including hexane, Vertrel, AK-225, Freon, xylene, and others.
